Commencez votre visite de l’île de Tiscamanita en admirant la modeste église construite par les voisins il y a quatre siècles. Alors que nous nous dirigeons vers le nord, nous passerons par Puerto del Rosario, la capitale de l’île, au Parc Naturel de Corralejo, avec plus de 2.500 hectares de dunes offrant une vue spectaculaire. Un peu plus au nord, à partir du port de Corralejo, vous pouvez également profiter de belles vues sur l’île de Lobos, un petit parc naturel qui bénéficie d’un paysage volcanique unique.
Nous ferons un arrêt à l’heure du déjeuner à Villaverde, où vous pourrez goûter des tapas et des plats typiques des Canaries avant de passer par La Oliva pour aller au Mirador de los Reyes, un endroit à voir absolument. Contemplez les imposantes statues en bronze et préparez votre appareil photo pour photographier un endroit incroyable. Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers la ferme de chèvres de Pepe pour goûter les fromages typiques de Majoreros et en apprendre davantage sur la culture de l’Aloe Vera.
Enfin, vous arriverez à l’ancienne capitale de l’île, Betancuria. Visitez la Casa de Santa María, une ferme traditionnelle où vous pourrez admirer une collection d’objets locaux et assister à une démonstration audiovisuelle sur les traditions des habitants. Avant de rentrer chez vous, vous vous arrêterez dans la pittoresque ville de Pájara. Avec sa belle église aztèque qui vous laissera bouche bée.

Begin your tour of the island in Tiscamanita and admire the modest church built by the neighbours four centuries ago. On our way to the north, we will pass through Puerto del Rosario, the capital of the island, to the Corralejo Natural Park, with more than 2,500 hectares of dunes offering a spectacular sight. A little further north, from the Port of Corralejo you can also enjoy beautiful views of Isla de Lobos, a small natural park that boasts a unique volcanic landscape.
We’ll make a stop at lunchtime in Villaverde, where you will try tapas and typical Canarian dishes before heading through La Oliva to Mirador de los Reyes, an absolute must see. Contemplate the imposing bronze statues and prepare your camera to photograph an incredible place. Afterwards, we’ll make our way to the Pepe goat’s farm to taste typical Majoreros cheeses and learn different aspects of the Aloe Vera culture.
Finally, you will arrive at the ancient capital of the island, Betancuria. Visit the Casa de Santa María, a traditional farmhouse where you can admire a collection of local artefacts and attend an audiovisual demonstration about the traditions of the locals. Before returning back home, you will stop in the picturesque town of Pájara. With its beautiful Aztec influenced church that will leave you dazzled.
